Some folks ask if we come all the way from Texas just to introduce our Dip'n Sauce™ to you - no, but we certainly would! Texas Marshall's Authentic Barbecue is based in Bakersfield, California (REALLY West Texas) and is run by Ken Marshall (Geoff Emery from KUZZ - Buck Owens' place).
What's the connection with Texas? I'm absolutely absorbed by the history, heritage, and pride of Texas barbecue, and its many influences. Texas BBQ combines styles from true cowboys, German and Czech immigrants, and Mexican influences from south Texas. (Didn't hurt that my daddy was an oil man in Houston for years and we have family there).

WHERE CAN YOU TASTE THE SAUCE?
Elaine's Cafe - Bakersfield
You ain't gonna believe this, but Bakersfield actually has an all vegan cafe! Lo and behold, you CAN eat healthy in this town! Elaine's is just a block from the Fox Theatre at the corner 20th and G Streets downtown. We've created a special vegan version of Dip'n Sauce™ that just seems made for Tim & Tracy's wonderful creations. You've got to try it on the tacos or the "chicken" sandwich. And the ice cream? Let's just say that one day when it's world famous, you can say you tried in Bakersfield first!
Kelly's Cafe - Tehachapi
Herbie took over the old Satterfield's Restaurant on Brian Way where you turn off 202 onto Woodford Tehachapi Road. They love their Dip'n Sauce™ on "The Range Burger", a big cheese burger made with the sauce and an onion ring. It reigns supreme as a fry dippin' sauce. Rumor has it you may be able to find a scarce bottle of Texas Marshall's Mojave Green mild hot sauce there too!
And if Herbie, or Tim & Tracy are ever out of the sauce when you stop by, for gosh sakes, tell 'em to order more! (Herbie can be a bit forgetful in his youth...)
