If there's one thing we take more pride in than creating our wonderful sauces, seasonings, and barbecue, it's our love of this great nation! Below are links to some great organizations that we've had a opportunity to work with who support the men and women who make such huge sacrifices so that we can enjoy our American lifestyle and freedoms! Also, you'll find links to other charitable and community causes we've had the pleasure of working with...

CHARITY & BENEFIT BBQ EVENTS
While the thrill of competition is always great on the professional BBQ competition circuit, there's usually an underlying cause that's far greater. Most competitions benefit a community or charity. The Texas Marshall's crew has competed in various competitions benefiting The Children's Miracle Network, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, The Family Care Network, Tribal Children's Fund at Viejas, CA, and many, many others. Competing may be fun, but giving back is better!

"GRILLIN' FOR THE GUARD"
SEPTEMBER 2006. Texas Marshall's Authentic Barbecue was proud to be part of the Military Families Appreciation Day at the new Bakersfield National Guard Armory. The annual event is a big family day celebration with food, games for the kids, and resources for families of deployed personnel from all branches. Along with friends from the professional BBQ circuit and many great local businesses, our classic BBQ team, The Burnt Fork Boys, spearheaded this event.
